Strange how SHERMAN ACQUISITIONS seems to "pop-up" in Oct in most credit reports that I've been reading.

Did the same thing in my husband's report - the original creditor (CITIBANK) was 2/1/1994 - Sherman came on in Oct/2002 ... while we were paying off GULF STATE (no "opening date") for the same creditor (CITIBANK). Finished paying GULF STATE on 12/2002 !

Then a Capital Management called up - great deal on a "visa" ... we ended up cutting a check for over $1000 ...

Shoot - long story .... CITIBANK got "payed off" TWICE ...

Now they're STILL all on the credit report ...

I'm trying to sort everything out and get some letters off to our lawyers .......hopefully they'll pursue this - as I've told them that we need to sue ... get our money back that we "overpaid" etc. etc.
