After one's PAID OFF a Credit Agency (and they've PROMISED to report to the CRA's etc. that they've received that payment) - how much time do they have to report/inform the CRA's ? For instance, GULF STATE CREDIT received a settlement check on DEC 31, 2002 - and yet on the credit report (June 14, 2003) that we pulled up - it STILL remains that we owe them money - 6 months later !!!
