They buy old accounts and have offices in Phoenix & Tulsa. Started calling me soon after I pulled a credit report last year. It's past the SOL with DOLA in 1998, but they reported an "account opened" in 2000. Am pursuing that violation now, as I kept account statements, cancelled checks, etc.

If it is past the SOL for your state, then threatening lawsuits is a violation. Ask them to put it in writing - they'll back down if they are smart.
