Question for WhyChat or Scott re: HIPAA

In a nutshell, DH had collection on CR from ATTN LLC for Hospital Bill, sent payment in full to OC with certified money order and disclaimer on back of check along with HIPAA letter. Sent to legal dept., absolutely no response. Since, have disputed with CRA, verified and updated as PAID collection. Any way to get it removed? Obviously hospital paid to CA. Very upset as trying to build new home and cleaning up CR. Never even got a bill to begin with, would have paid then.... Any suggestions or are we S**T out of luck? Thanks in advance.
