I just received a call that I missed and on the caller ID it gave the name Bernard C Sands with a number. I did a search on the internet, as I do not recognize this name or number, and it so happens, it is a collection agency.

In the past, thanks to the kind people here and more importantly, Scott, I was able to get CAMCO off by back with a Cease and Desist letter. They were trying to collect on a very old debt of mine.

Now, I believe, they must have thrown this debt back in the pot, sort of speak, and this collection agency has seized it. Thankfully, due to the kind people here, I now know my rights and can deal with them. What I am wondering are two things.

1. Has anyone dealt with this collection agency in the past?

2. Can a collection agency keep selling your old debts to other collection scum and is there anyway to stop this?

Thanks again all, your responses are appreciated.
