MBNA the original creditor and was willing to settle my account for $520.00 and forgive the remaining balance. If i had the money thats is what i would have done. My question is this Collect America has bought the debt from MBNA how do i find out how much they bought it for? MBNA told that the can't tell me info on the account any more since they don't own the rights to it.
