Thanks for the clarification. In my situation, I do have an 'ostensible' address: the address of record on the cards. I have a good friend to open mail for me while I'm gone so that I may learn of any imminent court actions (and so I could be ready to protect my mutual funds 'nest egg'). I have not lived at that address for a year, and the friend there is apprised of the situation and willing to cooperate in this regard. (Am I getting warmer re a possible line of action agaisnt D predators??) :-)
