I collect credit card debts

OK I work for one of the Companies mentioned on this site. I collect on delinquent credit cards that are about to be charged off. I know that I spend about 50 hours a week at work, 40 of it just trying to find ways to reach out to people. I am not kidding when I say that I am not trying to just collect a debt (although that is my job) but I am sincere in my efforts to assist people get out of debt. I send letters, make phone calls, leave messages, everything, you name it, I bet I've tried it. What is the main reason that someone having financial difficulties doesn't respond to requests for contact (not necessarily payment). Thanks for any response and best of luck to you all.
