The credit card company should "reage" the account. This is the terms used to adjust delinquency. The government has become much more strict on guidelines for the credit card companies so they may be hesitant @ 1st but if it is a clear issue with mailing, THEY CAN ADJUST YOUR CREDIT FILE.
