I would say I don't want to answer the calls out just plain ole fright. How scared do you think people get when they think you are going to cuss them out, threaten to take them to court, tell them what bad people they are? I have even been told by one what a bad parent I am for not paying my bills. Though I didn't pay them bills so that I could put a roof over my children's head, food in their mouth and clothes on their back. Things happen in life, good and bad. A CA just wrote me a letter. It says I can pay in two payments if I settle the debt for 50% of what I owed. Letter also says it will remove all listings from my credit report. That I can make the first payment (by mail) in 14 days, and the second payment 30 days after the first. It also says they won't sell the rest and that I can have my service back with the oc if I would like. Now, that is a letter I am willing to work with. They promised in the letter to treat me with respect and dignity. I will be sending in the full 50% to them tomorrow. Another ca called my home and said you owe you pay, that simple. You don't pay we sue. Well, they can sue, as I am going to file bk in the next few months and it will have no bearing on my life. BK don't bother me, my parents are buying my home for me in their name, my car is in their name, and ca can't touch child support, as I dont work, I stay home to care for my kids. Be like the first ca I talked about and you might get places.
