here's whati have found out in my own research on SOL in texas ( 4 years til the debt is nolonger collectable, but if you are sued and the sol is up, YOU have to bring it up in court that the debt is no longer collectable and the suit is dismissed. now here is the kicker when it comes to getting to your sol, you must never make another payment, or even say you will make a payment or partial payment,
and DO NOT leave the state of texas (move that is) all this will change your sol :(.
