I asked my wife she says she only reaffirmed with Sears and that there was nothing signed...A rep of Sears showed up to her BK hearing and asked if she wanted to keep the merchandise. She said yes to some and said she no longer owned other things. The rep made an oral agreement..."can you pay $xx per month?"..my wife says she accepted and that was that..nothing was signed. be wary of Sears, however, they reaffirm for one payment and then charge something different , I paid them off when we married (Another story). What I'm saying is perhaps an oral agreement for reaffimation took place in front of the BK judge. Anyway your best bet is to get ahold of the lender. As long as you listed the car as a debt you wanted discharged..you have nothing to worry about, other than maybe getting another car which is all to easy.
