I have an old debt sold several times. Sherman recently put the Northland dogs on me and they are licensed in my state. I think the debt is getting close to SOL, but have not checked credit report since as I understand it, this may stir things up.
Now that they have enlisted their subsidiary licensed in my state, is that a likely indication they will file suit? Debt is $5000+.
