I did something stupid!!!

Hi all,
For the last couple of years, I have had a medical
collection account for a whopping 5 bucks showing
on my CR, so I have disputed it as not mine, and
it has come back as validated both times. So,
today, I called the CA- don't ask me why. It turns
out that there was a major screw-up with my health
insurance, but the idiot CA told me, " We don't delete
nothin. Only the FTC can tell us what to delete."
Whatever! I know I can dispute that, but then she
says that I have another 50 dollar account from
back in 1999 that hasn't shown up on my CR "yet."
Can they start reporting this now after holding onto
it for so long????? They probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been so idiotic as to call them. Thanks!
