When you are denied credit, they are required to send you in writing that you were denied based upon information they received from whichever credit report they pulled. They will list the agency Experian, Equifax, or Transunion as the report they pulled with that agency's address. You are entitled to a free report from that agency by writing the address listed and stating that you were denied credit based on their report. They will mail you out one within a week.
