As for GC Services, they are out of Houston, TX. www.gcserv.com is the website. Worth checking out. Did you know they claim to have a million employees? yes indeed, I had no idea there were so many failed genetic experiments on the loose in the entire world, much less all working for the same scumpany.
Also, Sheryl, check out the pictures of their 'employees' on the website. Aren't they all nicely dressed? Smiling? They even look clean! In other words, models hired for the job. Most 'collections professionals' aren't allowed anywhere near zoos as their appearance and general demeanor tends to frighten the animals.
Call the FTC right away and start a complaint about the vicious calls you've been receiving. Call your state AG and do same. Even if they can't do something in your specific case, it's one more log on the fire and ultimately it's quantity of complaints that costs these legalized predators very dearly.
You might do well to demand validation and as well dispute the debt in its entirey and in any and all fractions thereof. By so doing you are communicating to them that you are not an easy hit. And like the rest of their criminal brethren, they aren't about challenges but instead about getting money for nothing. In your case, bullying women. My my, aren't they brave. This was a woman who called you?
I can just imagine, all three hundred pounds of her, arms like a stevedore, smartly attired for business in rubber hip waders and a red flannel trucker's shirt. Alluring yet horrifying. Seductive although repugnant, inviting while retaining that putrid quality germane to 'collections professionals'.
These cancers in your life need cauterization, poisoning, excision by every legal means you can muster. You've come to the right place. Many kind and knowledgeable people here who want you to prevail over these parasites.
