BK and Car Value

I'm in $15,000 debt but do not want to include my car if I should file BK. I'm not familiar on the BK exemptions in regards to car value. My car is worth $6,000 Blue Book, but I still owe over $10,000 (I was very upside down on my trade in)... What will they make me do? Sell, Trade Down or just leave it alone as I don't want to include it in the BK... Oh, the state I'm in is Virginia. Thanks for any tips or guidance.
