Stick around this board and you'll read about more and more 'collections professionals' trying to shake people down for long past the statue (SOL) debts. If they file suit it will be by legal definition time-barred and they will not just lose, you might end up gaining a judgement against them for malicious prosecution.
If they continue to call, do as LadynRed suggests, tell 'em to play on the interstate. Now, some people might object to getting their cars all greaszy and contaminated with the lice-riddled carcasses of 'collections professionals'. In that case, perhaps you might suggest they draw a nice warm bath, sprinkle in some bubble bath and hop in , oooh,so relaxing. At some point you'll want to tell them that for full pleasure, they'll want to have a friend throw a live t.v. set in with them, preferably an older one with about twenty to thirty killah-volts on the picture tube. Mmmmmmm invigorating.
