I have been in the identical situation, you need to send them a Cease and Desist Letter right away and be sure to send it certified receipt requested. Be sure to keep the green stub. I would also advise you to check all three credit reports and keep copies showing it is not on any of them. E-mail Scott to get a good letter to send them, this is a expired SOL debt and after they receive the C & D letter, they should go away. There are steps you have to follow to get through this, so be sure and follow Scott's advise to the letter... Good Luck!
