Talked with my husband. We received a Statement of Sale for $3400, leaving a deficiency of $11,603. There was no "paperwork" as far as I know. We asked for a 2 month extension on the payment as my husband was starting a new job in 45 days (May 27), but they said they coundn't help us. The vehicle had never been late, but fell two months behind last fall. We made a payment every month after that but were never able to make up the difference. They came to our house for a "field visit", told us we obviously coundn't afford the vehicle, so we handed over the vehicle and then received this Statement of Sale in the mail. What is "waiving notice"? I guess what I'm looking for is what this company is going to do next. Will I be expected to pay 11k in a lump sum? I know you don't have all the answers, but this sounds impossible to me right now considering everything else that is late. Thanks for your help!!
