A couple of years ago, before I ever heard of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, your friends Wolpoff & Abramson obtained a default Judgment on a credit card account that was past the SOL. I don't think I was even served, but recently I noticed on my credit report, the date of last activity was quite past the time frame needed to file a suit. Naturally, I contacted Wolpoff & Abramson to inform them of such error as the default judgment was past the SOL. Of course W&A disagreed, instead informing me the account was a written contract well within the SOL. Even WHY CHAT's website differentiates between opened ended contracts and written contracts. So I informed W&A of such differences and was informed by W&A that I had better just pay them and not inform anybody of W&A SOL action.
