so I found this information on your site, I then did the download of liscenced CA's in Florida, and there are a couple on my credit report, that are not listed, as well as one that I received a collection letter from yesterday. What now?
isn't this a violation for not being registered in Florida. The acct is from GA and the collection agency is in Georgia. Bond: Yes - $50,000 (Commercial)
License: Yes
Fee: Yes
$200 - Registration
$50 - Investigation
$200 - Renewal
Exemption for out-of-state collectors: Registration is required for out-of-state collectors if [1] soliciting accounts; [2] if client (creditor, its affiliate or subsidiary) has an office in Florida.
