I had a friend in banking to run a credit report on me,the ones the banks see with the score and all.Experian and Equifax came back normal but trans-union's came back with high balance warnings and too many inquiries ,information that is not on any of the other bureaus reports. After looking at the inquiries, many of them, just offered me cards without consent to check my credit.Experian, using another risk model didn't penalize me for these inquiries.Neither did Equifax. The balances on the cards that trans-union considered high were out dated as payments had already been sent in.The other bureaus had the correct information.I may get a high balance from time to time, but they are summarily paid down quickly to avoid the interest and finance charge trap.I closed an unused BP oil card account as the last BP station near me has closed and I no longer need the card.trans union seemed to make a big deal out of it but the card company reported me as R01.My score was high enough to be considered excellent, but with all the rhetoric and inquiries held against me along with the out dated information,it could easily mean trouble . Can you secede from the union,trans-union has shown ineptness concerning my and i'm sure others credit worthiness. Is it possible to keep them from handling my credit report until such time as they can be trusted or possibly not at all ?
