If you move from a 5 year SOL State to a 4 year SOL State and you are sued in your PRESENT 4 year SOL State they need to follow the 4 year limit.

If you moved from Ca. to Wyoming you would have a different situation, if your 4 year Ca SOL had gone by before you moved, Wyoming's 8 year SOL could not apply as they have an exemption in their law.
