Thanks for the advice. Most of the accounts have now been closed by the Grantor anyway and some have been charged off. (So we are screwed there!) Since we have been with Curadebt, we have gotten 1 (yes 1) settlement in which the Creditor didn't even write off the rest of the balance like they said they would. Curadebt has made several thousand dollars off us with their "startup fee" as well as settlement acceptance fee.
I just pulled our credit and notice that all of the "last activity" dates are in 2002, mostly last summer, prior to when we hooked up with Curadebt. Would those be the dates I use to determine SOL in Nevada? I am really tempted to scrap Curadebt and try this ourselves but we have over $80K worth of debt (was only $72K when we started with Curadebt so we are definitely going backwards!)
Any additional advise is very much appreciated.
