when you owe debt they can haunt you to the grave to collect, but that is unlikley because the cost would be to high. 7 years from day of last activity it will come off your credit report,(by law) but do not try to get a credit card with a company that you owed $ to in the past, because what they will do is put it(old bill) on you new credit card even if it is over 7 yrs, always deal with a differant company, like I said you still owe the $ it is just a ? of will they waist there time trying to collect?????probley not
