garnishment of wages question

I explained in an earlier thread that we had appealed a garnishment. I think this is the url http://www.cardreport.com/wwwboard/messages/16375.html
Anyway, I live in Kansas. And we went to court on this and the other attorney did not show up. So the judge ruled that the garnishment is set aside. However, our company already sent the attorney money from my husbands wages. The other attorney's office says they do not have to give that back. Do they? Since it was taken from this garnishment that we appealed and they failed to show up to court for? It does not seem fair that they can keep it. They said they will be filing another garnishement order today. So we have to start all over and as long as they keep doing this our appeal will mean nothing and they will keep getting the garnished money. Please help if you have any advice.
