LadynRed, Thanks again for responding to my post. SA is a collection agency, why would they farm out potential money to another CA? I agree with you that they are separate companies, but so far in my research I haven't heard of them working together, and in any case the whole thing can't be right (legal?). My credit report says 1st USA sold my account to SA. I've got a letter from 1st USA stating this. Seems like SA is the only one to deal with.
If at all possible please see what you can come up with. Until then I'll wait for SA to call me, which I'm sure looking forward to.
