Good place to start is by going to falc.com and quatloos.com. These sites are operated by Attorney Jay D. Adkisson. He is well versed in asset protection and perhaps more importantly, can warn you of how not to 'protect' your assets. There's a lot of scam artists out there selling nevada corporations, offshore trusts, and similar fraud rip-off. Probably some of the more talented relatives of the collection agency owners.
Adkisson's testimony before Senator Grassley will come up on a google search along with other helpful info. Found Adsisson some years ago, before this board. His info has always proven helpful and as well warned one away from the shoals.
