thank you very much for your help! this info is very useful. I hope someone can help me . I have 3 credit card accts that were charged off 2 in 4/98 and one in 5/98. These accts were sold to other collection agencies one 07/02,one in05/02 and one in 01/03. my understanding is they were past the sol in california. can I get these off my credit report? how would i do this? one original creditor hit my acct twice under a different name in02/99 can i dispute this? please help me i would really appreciate it.
