I read in a previous post that OC cannot charge interest on a charged off acct but a CA can....my CR indicates the charge off and under Cap1 it says "collection account" I have, however, never been contacted by any collection agency so how do I ascertain whether that means 'in house collections' or 'collection agency' if indeed it means agency how do I find out "WHO?"

Also, WhyChat asked in a prev post whether I had opted out yet.....I have to plead ignorance here, I have no idea what that means or how to do it, and yes the CR shows a balance due....
