I am trying to buy a house and i have 4 charged off accounts thats about 2-3 years old. They were opened in VA and I now live in DC. The mortgage company advised me that i needed to take care of these accounts before i can get a home loan. Is it good to pay off these old debts?. I called the companies and they all been assigned to CA's (NCO, RMA, MCM, MRS). I hate to pay these old debts but i want to buy a house. ANy suggestions. Thanks
