No need to deal with it. On Sept1. send a letter to the CRA's telling them to remove it as it is out of date.
The going rate for out of statute debt is .005 cents on the dollar {a half a cent}. That's what they paid and they want $450??? Yeah right. Send 'em a letter saying the alleged debt is timebarred and never contact you again. If the debt doesn't come off the report, Asset has tried to re-age and we can show you how to sue them in small claims court for a $1000 for an FCRA violation.
