Hi,
I'm new here, and to make a long story short, am in the same boat as "just me again". I don't understand what you mean by a $30,000 exemption, could you explain. I too live in Texas, just received a letter from a lawyer on a Citibank acct. threatening lawsuit, it had been charged off and sold a number of times. The total amt is about $6800. I hv received letters from CA's on this acct., but never from an atty. The SOL will probably run out in another year or two. Thanks in advance for any information you can offer.
