i have a cc acct that was CO in 98,dla shows 4/98, the acct was bought and reported by palisades collections in5/02. under the new CA's dla it shows "open" there is a balance due and the original creditor's name on it. what does this mean? i never received letter from this company because i was out of country so i did not dispute sol within 30 days. can i still dispute it eventhough it is past 30 days. thanks for help.
