Perhaps if you understand that the current head of the FTC,Timothy Muris, is a Bush appointee who believes in a "rollback" of privacy laws and FCRA regulations, and if you checked the GOP campaign contribution list for the names of collection agency donors, you would understand why, along with everything else,enforcement of consumer protection laws has been dumped on the States.
