To make a long story short, telecheck and a CA attorney put a negative tradeline for a bounced check on my credit report. The only problem is that this is for someone else. Apparently they took a person with my same name in the same city I lived in and matched a partial address. I lived at 2200 prospect and this person lived at 2200 roanoke. Apparently this is enough to ruin my credit report and destroy my ability to write checks. I never noticed it a year ago when I applied for a great job at a bank and was turned down for an unknown reason. Now it turns out I was turned down because they are a financial institution and did not like my derog on telecheck. I have telecheck taped admitting that this was somebody elses bill and I have the CA attorney actually verifying the suddenly paid collection on my credit report. I know I can sue them for fdcpa violations and fcra violations but can I sue for lost wages for the job they cost me. Now I know why a year ago I got turned down from writing a check at wal-mart. Those fools kept me from a high paying job for nothing. The worst part is I read a month ago how the CRAs and CAs just match up partial info like mine and think that is good enough to destroy a person's life. Now they are gonna pay.
