I believe you are beyond the Pa. 4 year SOL for legal debt collection. The time starts from your FIRST delinquency, (late payment) to Chase, usually about 4-6 months BEFORE the charge-off date. Any payments to anyone after it was charged off do not count in figuring that starting date.

To make sure, unless you have old bills from Chase that say "past due" or have a late charge added on, look at your Experian credit report,it will show when the account is scheduled to be removed, (7 years).Dedct 3 years from that date.

If you are beyond SOL, go to my website, look for the letter to CA re: SOL,follow the directions.

If you were within the legal time limits for being sued, Piedmont wuld have done so instead of reselling your account to another CA.
