oh, i don't think i have any old bills from this charged off Chase acct...this is from too long ago.

i got this chase account removed from experian and equifax (i was unsuccessful with transunion; somehow they verified it). chase could not locate any of my account information...i have the original account # which they could not find, nor could they look me up by SS#

yes, piedmont kept threatening me with legal action only to bounce this acct to another CA. claims recovery sys. first wrote to me to my old address in november of 2002, and it took them 8 months to write back again .somehow they got a hold of my current address...probably by my transunion credit report.

claims recovery sys. also says they sent a certified letter to my current address, which i never received. they claim they have a signed receipt..and it was not signed by me. they refused to let me see a copy of this 'signed receipt'. do you think they lied claiming they sent a certified letter?

>I believe you are beyond the Pa. 4 year SOL for legal >debt collection. The time starts from your FIRST >delinquency, (late payment) to Chase, usually about 4->6 months BEFORE the charge-off date. Any payments to >anyone after it was charged off do not count in >figuring that starting date.

>To make sure, unless you have old bills from Chase >that say "past due" or have a late charge added on, >look at your Experian credit report,it will show when >the account is scheduled to be removed, (7 >years).Dedct 3 years from that date.

>If you are beyond SOL, go to my website, look for the >letter to CA re: SOL,follow the directions.

>If you were within the legal time limits for being >sued, Piedmont wuld have done so instead of reselling >your account to another CA.
