Midland Credit management has sent me yet another letter indicating that they are the SERVICER of the above-mentioned account. Now, the SOL has run on this account. Midland redated this account and has it as open as of May of 2003. The debt is over five years old. I sent the Whychat letters about cease and desist, the certified letter, return receipt, have green card back, wrote the attorny general in the state of california and have heard back from that office that they will write a letter, and have written the credit reporting agencies. BUT Midland just sent me a new letter demanding payment. What is the SERVICER of the account. Plus I should add, that there is a line in there about my credit report will not be updated if the federal reporting period has expired. What does that mean? Thanks.
