I had a vehicle that I had to turn over in the month of October 2000. The account was charged off. I have recently received a letter stating that a collections company wants to make a deal with me for 9 Grand. I really dont want to pay this since I turned the car over. The state I bought the car in was Florida and the last activity reported was June 2000. Any advice on what I should do? Just ignore it maybe? The same thing happened about 2 years ago and I just ignored and nothing else came out of it.
