I forgot to add no matter what you do make sure you do not admit to the debt. It would not matter but they will try and trick you. There is a SOL and there is not some made up supreme court law that states there is no statute of limitations. They like to use that one. They cannot legally sue you. They cannot threaten to sue you. they cannot place it on your credit report(all their debts are past 7 years) and they cannot threaten to do so. Actually post your state here. You may be in a taping state.
