This is what you absolutely need to do to protect yourself(besides bitch slapping her). this only works if you call her. You cannot do this if she calls you as your state has a different law. Get something to record phone calls. I think radio shack has something under $20 or you can use a tape recorder and a little suction cup microphone that goes for like $5. Call her up and remind her that she gave you permission to write this check and you already paid her $150. Human nature says she will probably brag about it. You do not need her permission to tape the phone call nor do you even tell her it is being taped. Nebraska is a 1 party consent taping state which means no tellie her. Act casual and get the truth from her. She may brag aout it. Once you have it if she tries any crap I would turn around and sue her and file criminal charges against her. She is a scammer and deserves what she gets. If you have any sympathy for her then she will railroad you into the ground. what comes around goes around. TAPE HER.
