a few quick questions for the pros...

Sherman aqt. had my acount they were not licensed in illinois. they sold it to northland group (who is licensed), is this legal?

secondly i moved to a state that has a longer sol. i lived in colorado where my sol is up... i have 8 more months untill it's up in IL am i protected under colorado's SOL's?

and thirdly Northland is sending the notices to my mom's address in nebraska (they don't even have my illinois address) how should i handle this? i am reluctant to contact them because i don't want them to have my address until my sol here is up. they are just sending me settlemnet offers now but should i be worried they might try to sue (the OD is for $1000) settlement offers are for $854?
