Can you get a PO Box, like mail boxes etc., and have all your mail go there and YOU have the only key ?? Or maybe all you need to do is forward HER mail. Then you could intercept the new cards.

I know that sounds low-down, but if she refuses counseling and just keeps spending, she's going to totally ruin you both financially.

Somehow you need to get those accounts closed. Creditors are a pain when it comes to dealing with someone besides the actual account holder, but it certainly sounds like its time for some major guerilla tactics to put the brakes on her spend-a-holic ways.

Since you DO bear liability for her debts due to the community property status, you *may* have a chance of getting somewhere.
