The divorce idea wouldn't help you a whole lot. TX is a community property state - you'd still be stuck with the result of her sprees :(

Do you have anyone, her family, or friends, that can get her to see a doctor ? I know from personal experience with a bi-polar friend that they rarely realize they need help. My friend realized, at some level, that there was something wrong and got help. He's on medication and he's doing great.
