Look, though I appreciate your sentiments, you don't know all the facts.

This man is dangerous, violent, unstable and totally amoral. He has been in jail before in relation to things he has done to me, and hasn't learned crap. He has violated his restraining order in the past and nobody seems to care--cops, FBI, judges. His actions almost caused me to lose my new job and my new apartment. It is very nice to have all these ideals, but in actual practice it has meant nothing. The bastard has left me alone for nearly a year now, and I want to keep it that way!

I came here for advice regarding a credit matter. With all due respect, I'd prefer not to be armchair psychoanalyzed as an "enabler."
I escaped from a potentially life-threatening situation and am just trying to move on with my life!

I have a small child. I am "making concessions and sacrifices" to preserve my own safety and that of my child! He does not know where we are now, and it is going to stay that way. The more I continue to involve him in my life in any way, the longer this process will drag out.

As I said, this account was opened almost 2 years ago, when I was still living with him. I can and will deal with this through means that do not need to involve him. Would somebody please give me some concrete assistance with my credit question? Thanks.
