yes ma'am, that's what i thought but like an idiot i signed a document saying that they could. i can't wait for it to go to my payroll dept because it would look horrible considering what i do. in texas you can only be protected for the first garnishment and they've already garnished a couple of years ago for a student loan, if it was to happen again i could lose my job. see why i'm concerned? i just wish i could find a site where it says in writing that they can not, even if i signed something saying that they could! thanks Patti
