Kimbo-

Credit card accounts can be described as numbers on a ledger, nothing more nor less. They
are about math. Think of litigation and the threats of such action as numbers on a scale from step one to one hundred, a continuum if you will.

These cowpies are working their old and well practiced game of trying to convince you that they are already at step 99 and thus 100 is just one step away, step 100 being inescapable garnishment, confiscation of assets, seizure of all children, cousins, aunts, uncles, parakeets, pet hamsters and radio flyer wagons.
They are full of prairie plop. As LadynRed so clearly illustrates, they must successfully clear several hurdles and they have yet to enter the race. Remember, the more you use every legal tool to thwart these goons, the more you slow them down, the more money it costs them to get to you.
CA's are typically cheap two-bit con-artist cheat operations. They live to sue the innocent whom they will B.S. into thinking that they've lost before the case is even filed. The defendant fails to show in court, the scumbucket CA gets his default judgement.
By resisting them and fighting on their turf you stop them from getting away with this easily. Now they have to spend money and even worse, actually have to work to win their dumb exploitive case. Sometimes they lost interest altogether and go away. See it from their point of view. They know that if they get even two or three default judgements out of a hundred cases filed they are making money, so why do they want to waste time and cash on you?
Think of these maggot-riddled dog droppings as the local housebreaker. Does he want a challenge? No. He wants you to leave your front door open with a map pinned to it showing where the tv set, vcr and jewels are located.
When this jerk finds a locked door, an alarm sticker, when he hears a dog inside the home he doesn't stick around, he moves along to the next hopefully easy hit.

By your actions you are showing that you are not an easy hit, much to the displeasure of the CA. Perhaps they gave you this dissonant song & dance routine about pre-existing garnishment agreements full in the knowledge that their case, as are they, is worthless, so hopefully you'll fall for this empty line of pre-digested dog chow.

Dissonantly,

Keyser Soze
