Here yet again, another fine example of a bunch of stupid crooks operating as a collection agency who are once again caught.
You have some challenges ahead, indeed. But these gutter pumpkins are knocking down one violation after another, call the FTC and start complaints, call the state AG.
Don't be fooled by what they send you by way of 'validation', if they even send anything at all. Usually they'll send some poop sheet, a page showing the selling price of the account on chargeoff date or some such nonsense. That's another violation.
See, they've had the joy of winning on a cockeyed playing field which is after many years, thanks to this board and others like it becoming more level. The only reason these fly-ridden horse puckies win is because they know the rules and more important, they know that debtors don't. They also know that people are normally afraid of being hauled into court.
The more you fight them, resist their stupidly crafty tricks, the more they may just leave you alone. A nice complaint to the FTC and your state AG many a time will persuade these vermin to go away and leave you alone.
